Product Description
A classic wide-angle lens updated for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless systems, the Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG DN is an Art-series prime characterized by its advanced optical design, sleek profile, and bright maximum aperture. The f/1.4 maximum aperture enables working in low-light conditions and provides increased control over depth of field for achieving shallow depth-of-field effects.
The optical layout incorporates two SLD Special-Low Dispersion, one ELD Extra-Low Dispersion, and one FLD Low Dispersion elements. It also features two aspherical elements and high refractive index elements to achieve notable clarity and sharpness with well-controlled distortion and aberrations. A Super Multi-Layer Coating further enhances image quality by suppressing lens flare and ghosting.
As part of the Art line within Sigma's Global Vision series, this lens is designed for creative and artistic applications, delivering exceptional optical performance for both professional and enthusiast photographers.
